Watercolours with Lillian Loponen - Part 2
The well-known Yukon artist carries with her over 44 years of working with watercolours. This watercolour course takes the student on a fun adventure in exploring the media of watercolour techniques, imaging, and design concepts over the two days.
Artist Bio:
Lillian Loponen, in the Yukon since 1979, her art portrays the quiet power, dreamlike qualities, and spirit energies of living landscapes. Her paintings are in the collections of Keno City, Mining Museum, City of Whitehorse, Beringia Interpretive Centre, Yukon Permanent Art Collection, Immigrant Services Society of BC, Alberta Art Foundation, the Royal Collection of Drawing and Watercolours at Windsor Castle, Crown Life Insurance and in private collections around the world.
No experience is necessary, and all materials will be provided.
Each class will be $40 per person. $80 total for the series.
This class is a series of 2, and participants need to register for BOTH classes!
